"Deutsche Bahn" the privatized German railroad, has replaced much of its rolling stock with sleek modern cars. Nearly all new trains (except the high speed ICE trains) are equipped to carry bicycles as is this train, indicated by the bicycle icon located under the "2" for second class (unclear in photo).
