  Leigh Ann Von HagenMs. Von Hagen has worked in the transportation planning field for over eight years. At VTC she is a Project Manager for the NJ Bicycle and Pedestrian Resource Center, and is developing a forum for discussion and research of livable and active transportation solutions in the state. As a former Senior Planner for Bicycle and Pedestrian projects for The RBA Group and a former Coordinator of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Group for Urbitran Associates, Ms. Von Hagen shaped a background in analysis and design of both on and off-road facilities for pedestrian and bicycle access and safety needs. Her recent focus of research has been with issues regarding Safe Routes to School (SRTS) and the development of a SRTS program for New Jersey. She is also one of the key architects for the Mayors Wellness Campaign, which was created to equip mayors and other leaders with the tools to develop and implement active-living initiatives in their communities.
