Aashna Jain, MCRP, BArch is a Research Project Coordinator at the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers University. She is interested in integrated multi-modal transportation planning and transit-oriented developments. Her works include analyzing equity issues in transportation, complete streets implementation studies, accessibility and level of service analyses.
She has completed her post-graduation from Rutgers University focusing on transportation and application of data analytics in planning. Before pursuing her Master’s degree, she used to work as a Project Architect in India developing concepts and preliminary design for educational and recreational buildings. She is passionate about the role of transportation systems in shaping the urban built environment and the emerging domain of urban analytics.
