Ms. Shrestha is a graduate research assistant at the New Jersey Bicycle & Pedestrian Resource Center (BPRC). As a member of BPRC, she conducts pedestrian surveys, street audits, research, and teaches school children about bike safety at Bike Rodeos to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety throughout New Jersey.
She is currently working towards her master’s degree in City and Regional Planning with a concentration in Transportation Planning at Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Mathematics. Prior to starting her master’s degree, she interned and worked as a Research Assistant at Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Washington, D.C. With a passion for active transportation and creating livable communities, Aishwarya aims to work towards building walkable, and transit-friendly communities.
