Gabriela is a student research assistant for the NJ Bicycle and Pedestrian Resource Center.
Gabriela currently attends the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and is pursuing a Masters Degree in transportation and environmental planning. She attended The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Community, Environment and Development with a concentration in International Development and with a minor in International Studies. Her interests are in environmental sustainability, social justice, transit-oriented development, public transportation and in bicycle and pedestrian research and development. She is concerned with the link between all of these issues and how to make cities greener, more sustainable and great places for the people who live in them.
In addition to city planning and environmental sustainability, her passions include art, traveling, kayaking and hiking.
