The NJ Bicycle and Pedestrian Resource Center (NJBPRC) is proud to announce the completion of its draft 5-year Strategic Plan. A strategic planning process was initiated in 2011 to take stock of past successes and to identify current challenges and opportunities informing and guiding the Center’s work over the next three to five years. The process of creating this Plan has been a joint effort between the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s Office of Bicycle & Pedestrian Programs and the Voorhees Transportation Center (based at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey) where the NJBPRC is housed.

We ask that you please take time to read over the draft plan and provide Resource Center staff with any comments or questions you may have regarding our outlook for the future of the Center. A copy of the report can be downloaded from the NJBPRC main page at www.njbikeped.org. The public review period will be open from Friday, January 13th to  Monday, February 13, 2012. Comments can be provided to the NJBPRC via the help desk email (bikeped@ejb.rutgers.edu).

As always, we thank you for your continued support and look forward to assisting New Jersey as its Bicycle and Pedestrian Resource Center for many years to come!
