Complete Streets in New Jersey

We need your help! The New Jersey Bicycle & Pedestrian Resource Center and the New Jersey Department of Transportation are asking readers for nominations for Complete Streets awards.

This year there will be two categories of awards: Complete Street Champions and Complete Streets Excellence Awards.

The Complete Street Champion Awards will go to three individuals/groups/teams that have demonstrated commitment to advancing Complete Streets in their communities, including Safe Routes to School advocates.

The Complete Streets Excellence Awards will go to municipalities/counties/projects that have demonstrated excellence in Complete Streets policy development or implementation.

Awards will be presented by NJDOT and BPRC at the bi-annual New Jersey Complete Streets Summit on October 24, 2017 at Rutgers University. Stay tuned for information about registration later this summer.
